Description
Purpose of the role- The Heidelberg Materials International Business Service Centre provides administrative and transactional services to inscope HM companies.
The Master Data team manages the control & integrity of all data relating to Customers, Vendors, Treasury & cost centres.
Within the department, this role is also responsible for:
- Use & management of SSC ticketing tool-
- Creations and amendments of new accounts for Customers, Vendors, Treasury & cost centres-
- Validation of all creations and amendments-
- Support SSC accounting department with the monthly opening & closing of ledgers-
- Management of weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual validation reporting-
- Transacting of bank payments in line with robust control processes-
- Maintenance of bank accounts, to include direct debits, standing orders, reconciliations etc.-
- Support manager with all audit controls-
- Ownership of closing cockpit processesThe role holder is expected:

- To have basic Microsoft Office (excel).-
- To have excellent data entry skills.-
- To have excellent written and oral communication skills-
- To comply with all aspects of the Heidelberg Materials Compliance Policy.-
- To ensure that all the business/operations are performed in accordance with instructions and procedures and in such a way so as to prevent any fraudulent activities taking place.-
- To comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and to observe the requirements of the Company Safety Policy and other relevant legislation.-
- To update all areas of knowledge as required to carry out the job with maximum effectiveness and to attend training/development courses as and when required.-
- To comply will all aspects of the HR Policies and Procedures of the Company.
- Education/Qualification
- 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) C and above.-
- Experience working in OCR, or similar.-
- Languages beneficial.
