Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Providing administrative support to the fee earners.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- They answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Utilize tele sales techniques to promote and upsell our services to potential and existing customers over the phone.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reception and tele sales processes by providing feedback and suggesting ideas for enhancement.
- Maintain an uptodate knowledge of our services offerings, pricing, promotions, and company policies to effectively communicate with customers.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures)
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably with tele sales experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Handson experience with office equipment (e.g., printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer service attitude
- Bachelor's degree: additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, W1H 5NF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
