PSJ engages and organises a global network of partners to act as a voice for marginalised communities and to create a model for active community advocacy for minority groups.

  • Planning, managing and delivering multichannel marketing and communications projects from inception through execution across all of PSJUK's activities.
  • Create a variety of traditional and digital content and collateral for PSJUK's various comms outlets, giving primacy to the website.
  • Creation of Lead Magnet content
  • Creation of content for landing pages (especially targeted at youth)
  • Managing the Charity's social media (sm) estate and team of social media volunteers
  • This will include scheduling daily posts on the various sm channels adopted. You will build and lead a team of sm volunteers which you will grow from 2 to 25. You will manage the charity's sm advertising budget.
  • Write, collate and review articles and opeds to be disseminated from the charity
  • Securing interactions with potential partners, supporters and sponsors.
  • Building and maintaining strong external relationships with organisations, individuals and groups.
  • Quarterly review / presentation on PSJUK Comms Plan / Comms Strategy
  • Drive PSJUK's Influencer Management protocols
  • Support research and policy generation
  • Provision of Admin and Executive Support *Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • A degree in the following fields is highly desirable but not mandatory:
  • Communications & Marketing
  • Public relations *Preferred Skills & Experiences
  • Prior experience in a similar role is essential
  • Very Good communicator both oral and written
  • The ability to work independently and flexibly
  • Enthusiastic personality with a genuine interest in the cause
  • Experience in supporting busy multifaceted executives at a Senior level
  • Have strong MS Office skills and be conversant with other tools e.g. CRMs
  • Experience working for a charity is a plus but not essential
  • Be highly organised and detailoriented *What we will offer
