Description

Effectively manage the goods in/out process in a busy OCTG yard, checking materials against paperwork, highlighting any errors, and working to find solutions, updating the yard management system and actively ensuring stocks are correct.

Assist with loading or unloading vehicles when required. Manage the storage and movement of accessories, ensuring the accessory building is loaded/unloaded and all accessories are stored correctly.

The individual will have responsibilities covering the following key areas:

  • Responsible for all goods in/out and ensuring they match the paperwork, stated descriptions, quantities, etc.
  • Updating the stock management system.
  • Highlighting any errors and working to correct them with others.
  • Verifying stocks, marking up correctly and storing correctly.
  • Checking paperwork prior to despatching goods, creating delivery notes and other required documentation
  • Controlling quarantine stocks, releasing only when issues have been resolved.
  • Managing the accessory storage area.
  • Loading and unloading the accessory building, working with the accessory team.
  • Packing and unpacking containers.
  • Covering for yard supervisor during holidays.
  • Other yard activity as may be required.

HSEQ

  • To work in full compliance with RPCL and client HSEQ expectations, procedures, and rules
  • Ensure contractors are aware of the HSEQ procedures of the company
  • To report any incidents or nonconformances immediately to the HSEQ Manager,
  • To set an example to all employees by appropriate use of PPE,
  • To act responsibly for their own and others' safety
  • To comply with all rules and regulations.

Personal Profile
Appointment to the role will require the following personal background and experience:

  • Prior experience of good in/out material control role
  • Experience of O365 and use of inventory control systems
  • Diligent, attention to detail and understanding of paperwork
  • OCTG experience preferred but not essential
  • Fork lift truck licence, B3 preferred but B1 acceptable
  • Previous experience of stock and inventory management
