My client is a big accountancy practice - multi-skilled firm of chartered accountants, auditors, tax advisers and all-round business specialists with clients across the UK.


  • 2+ years of experience on a similar role.
  • AAT level 4 qualified.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience of working with Sage, Xero, Quickbooks (desirable).
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.

The main duties will be:

  • Day to day bookkeeping and accounts maintenance for the clients.
  • Posting invoices.
  • Reconciling sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Preparation and submission of client's monthly/quarterly VAT returns.
  • Posting of month end journals.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
