ACCORD Hospice has undergone a significant review of its Community Orientated Services, introducing a 'Hospice at Home' service - discharge support, crisis intervention and End of Life care.

To maintain the level of care required we are looking to employ another Band 2 Healthcare Assistants to maintain the core requirements for this team (see attached Job Descriptions).

This role will cover a 7 day service (8am - 8pm) depending on the needs of the patients and service, supported by Staff Nurses and a Team Lead.

Significant theoretical and practical training will be provided before initiating this service.

SSSC registration is essential for this role

This is a 34.5 hour post, per week utilising a 12 hour shift pattern over 7 days, acting as an additional support to the patient's existing care package.

Flexibility will be essential in this role to meet the demand on this service, with the ability to support the needs of the Inpatient Unit if required.
