Description
Richmond Pharmacology is a leading medicines research organisation based in the heart of London, engaged in the testing of new medicines targeting both rare disease areas and those diseases that impact huge global populations.
We conduct clinical trials on a multitude of volunteer panels including healthy young, elderly, Japanese and patients from primary and secondary care; to develop new medicines, treatments and cures for the future, helping to improve the quality of life for others.
Responsibilities
- The development of proposals for the conduct of commercial research ensuring that the project has adequate funding
- The management of the contract development for clinical research studies awarded
- Communicating with clients to gather requirements for new projects
- Planning and conducting meetings with clients to discuss out of scope project details, review deliverables, and receive signoff on deliverables before moving forward with implementation
- Information, writing and editing content, and ensuring timely submission
- Create and maintain proposal templates and other business development materials
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop win strategies and ensure that proposals align with business objectives
- Ensure proposals meet client requirements and are compliant with company policies and procedures
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Develop and maintain a library of proposal materials, including case studies, client references, and other supporting documentation
- Provide guidance and support to proposal team members on best practices for proposal development
- Track and analyze proposal metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the proposal development process
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and other business development activities as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a financial analyst preferably in life sciences or a related industry
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to a lay audience
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or medical device industries
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish
