You will be required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way.

As a healthcare support worker you will be an integral member of our Community Mental Health team working with and supporting the Community Mental Health Nurse in providing to help deliver care, support monitoring and treatment interventions to patients and their carers.

Our patients may have dementia or functional mental health problems, are over 65 years of age and living in Morayshire.

As a healthcare support worker you will join a service that is continually developing to meet the needs of our client group.

You will have experience of team working, problem solving, flexibility, and a wish to develop. You will have day to day responsibility of managing your workload and receive supervision from a trained nurse.

It would be desirable to have experience relevant to job purpose, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a knowledge of care of older people with mental health problems, good organisational skills and an ability to work on own initiative are essential for this post.

A car driver with access to a vehicle is essential.

HOURS- Monday - Friday
22.5 hours
