Bridge Recruitment is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Manager for their client based in York.

Within the role you'll be responsible for the management and processing of purchase invoices onto the accounting system, along with forecasting and the productionof payment runs.

What's in it for you?
- £27,000 - £32,000 per annum

Your new role as an Accounts Payable Manager

  • Accurately processing invoices on the Finance system, liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal staff to resolve any issues that arise issues quickly and efficiently
  • Checking and approval of new supplier accounts to ensure all information is present and correct
  • Providing accurate forecasting of supplier payments, and accurately calculating and processing contractor payments in line with agreed terms
  • Processing overhead invoices, employee expense claims, ensuring relevant approvals are obtained and coded accurately, reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Identifying and working with internal stakeholder to implement process improvements where possible
About you

  • Due to the nature of the role, you will need a minimum of two years' experience in an Accounts Payable role (essential)
  • Proven ability to improve effectiveness and efficiency of processes (essential)
  • Ability to effectively work within a team, understand process and a proactive approach to work (essential)
  • Intermediate experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, V Lookups)
  • Willing to further develop your skills through experience and access to formal finance qualifications and courses
