Therapies and Rehabilitation are seeking an innovative and creative AHP for a Clinical Lead post in Critical Care.

This exciting role will offer clinical and strategic leadership to AHPs supporting this clinical area, across dietetics, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy.

The post is part time for one year, and will work jointly with an established part time Clinical Lead.

The Clinical Lead post supports existing AHP services to critical care, which includes in
- and out-patient services across both sites. We are looking for a senior clinician in any of the above AHP professions who can offer advanced-level clinical skills and senior decision-making, quality improvement and service development support, reflecting national best-practice guidelines and local innovation. The post will act as a strategic link between the Therapies and Rehabilitation Directorate and Specialty Management Teams within Critical Care.

The post-holder must be able to offer strong, visible and accessible clinical leadership.

They will contribute to teaching and training within the wider team, and will ensure services are developed in line with NUH's vision, values and behaviours.


The postholder will be supported by Clinical Lead peers across our respective professions and clinical specialties, alongside therapy service managers and our Directorate Leadership Team.
