Logistics Coordinator to join our busy

Engineering Stores Team in Leeds.

Reporting to the

-
Stores Manager, the
-
Engineering Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the logistics operation within Engineering Stores.
-
What Do We Need You to Do?
- be responsible for accurate import/export customs administration and associated record keeping
- carry out general administration duties within Stores and ensure that all Stores records are updated and filed
- ensure all company parts and materials are classified in accordance with UK trade tariff codes and the import/export is processed using the correct customs regime
- provide clear and accurate clearance instructions, including commodity codes and customs procedures, to all freight agents for all company imports and exports
- use the computerised stock management system to its full capability to enable you to maintain a record of all import/export processes used and maintain all relevant information against each part
- liaise with internal teams such as
Engineering Administration and
Finance and will review monthly reports showing all imports/exports in order to identify and rectify any incorrect declarations
- maintain a working knowledge of Customs Regulations, ensuring all processes and procedures are in compliance and cost effective is vital to the success of this role.

Desirable skills / knowledge:

-
experience in Freight Forwarding and
-
Customs Compliance with good general administration skills. A Dangerous Goods qualification is desirable. You will have strong IT skills to include MS Office and excellent communication skills.
