Stock Control Assistant

Wembley, Middlesex

£28,000 + Pension + Parking

This is a brilliant opportunity for a driven, enthusiastic Stock Control Clerk at the start of their career to join a growing, very established local organisation where there will be excellent prospects for advancement.

Some of your duties will include:

Maintaining accurate stock records on computer system and recording details of all stock movement
Raising purchase orders and placing orders with suppliers based in the UK, EU and Far East
Checking supplier invoices received and checking cost against original quotations
Tracking purchase order progress, making sure critical path is followed and delivery schedules are achieved
Liaising with relevant Freight Forwarders to coordinate the import of new stock into the UK
Reconciling goods received against purchase orders and booking onto the stock control system
