Overview


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven individual who wants to join a growing international business as a Purchasing, Stock & Export Controller.


The Role


This role will be supporting the team who designing and developing next generation products as well supporting sales partners across the world.


This role is responsible for preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment, expediting the delivery of quality goods to ensure on time and within budget.

You will also be responsible for managing the stock around the globe and work with our technical department to support the new product process including costing of materials.

You will also co-ordinate import and export of goods and equipment, be able to generate packing lists and commercial invoices relating to all export orders utilising correct commodity codes which will involve drafting and managing the necessary documentation and certificates.


Work alongside the Finance team to coordinate and produce monthly stock holding by warehouse reports, this includes ensuring data within the systems is kept up to date.


Requirements:

The essential requirements for this role, which may have been gained in either personal or commercial environment include:

  • Experience of working in a purchasing department
  • CIPS Certified or currently progressing through CIPS (company will be willing to sponsor the right individual)
  • Proven administrative and office skills
  • Experience of international importing & exporting procedures and administration including custom clearance
  • I T literacy with experience of Sage 200, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Desirable requirements include:


  • Project purchasing experience
  • Some technical product knowledge / willingness to learn

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
