About the role
You will have accountability for the delivery of market and customer trends informing product development across all of ELL.

Highly effective cross-team collaboration along with the ability to build trust and lead through change are critical requirementsfor this role.


This is a hybrid role so whether based in the UK, Spain or Poland, there is an expectation for you to go into the office (London / Madrid / Poznan) twice per week.

High Level Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a Product Analytics plan for ELL Product
  • Working collaboratively across ELL product teams, find potential opportunities for business growth and product improvement through descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive and prescriptive data analysis
  • Working collaboratively with technology teams to identify and prioritise data sourcing and warehousing solutions
  • Develop a system, including a dashboard and communication plan, for monitoring the commercial, operational, and impact on learning performance of all ELL products
  • Use product analysis to help drive continuous improvement to optimise customer experience, learning outcomes and impact, and commercial outcomes, reporting will include the creation of propensity models to predict the behavior of customers
  • Providing thought leadership in using data to solve business problems and arriving at innovative advanced analytics and statistical solutions
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritise impactful business initiatives, based on insights discovered through analysis & data science, identifying KPIs to drive decisionmaking
  • Contribute to building and expanding a culture of data excellence and datadriven decision making across the product teams, by helping educate, inform, and guide stakeholders to be more autonomous in leveraging data to make informed decisions to create,enhance, or improve customer experiences
  • Manage analytics lifecycle for products from concept to delivery
  • Produce key metrics on an ongoing basis to communicate out to product teams
  • Develop quantitative analysis, reports, models, and A/B tests to support monetisation decisions
  • Collaborate with cross functional groups including Product, Sales, Technology and Marketing to identify key product opportunities
  • Participate in cross functional annual product planning processes to assist in defining strategic priorities including building the product roadmaps, identifying gaps in the market, and sharing out product performance metrics
  • Support the identification of opportunities for market expansion, growth and disruption by providing insights and data to the Leaders of Commercial Product Management
  • Provide inspirational, value driven leadership to your team such that they develop and are confident and capable in execution
  • Promote a culture of partnership, teamwork, innovation and diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Promote a highly collaborative, customercentric, datadriven culture that challenges norms with a bias to action; support diversity of thoughts, experiences, and approaches to solve issues
  • Role model executive leadership characteristics as part of the ELL Product senior leadership team
  • Lead and contribute to the ELL organisational and transformational change and ensure we have an agile and resilient, product managementled function.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience of large scale data migrations and transformation projects from an analytics perspective
  • Hands on experience with one or more data analytics and visualisation tools such as SQL, Google BigQuery and Tableau
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, organising and managing multiple analytic projects with diverse crossfunctional stakeholders
  • Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders who may have competing interests
First class leadership skills; able to inspire and motivate teams around a continuously
