A widely respected Lloyd's syndicate is looking for an

Assistant Tax Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will be supporting them by managing tax affairs for the group and syndicate. A fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a forward thinking and vibrant environment.

You will be accountable for tax compliance, tax risk management, tax training and digital tax.

Key tasks will include but not be limited to; UK Corporate legal entity and Syndicate tax returns, UK Group and Syndicate VAT returns, PSA calculations, assisting with quarterly Group Tax reporting and reconciliations, liaising, and supporting the Compliance team in ensuring the business is CCO compliant, and updating and maintaining tax process and control documentation.

You will also support in developing use of technology to provide automated tax function.

You will have mixed tax knowledge, numeracy and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills are a must while Lloyd's insurance market knowledge is desirable.
