A brilliant opportunity has opened up for an
MechanicalSupervisor to join our client who are a leading international infrastructure group, with capabilities in construction services, support services and infrastructureinvestments.

Where they create infrastructure; support communities and enable growth. You would be working on a major construction project based in Smethwick.


Daily duties of Mechanical Supervisor will include but are not limited to:

  • Required to oversee the Mechanical elements of the project.
  • To ensure that each project is properly planned so that materials and resources are available
  • Set out jobs from drawings and specifications and establish the requirements of a project and requisition and necessary installation materials and ensure compliance and test systems
  • Assist with H&S Preparation and implementation
  • Accept responsibility for the proper completion of jobs and if required supervise other operatives as well as liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers when necessary.

The ideal Mechanical Supervisor will have knowledge of:

  • Pipe work cold water systems
  • Pressurised systems
  • Hot water systems
  • Domestic Hot and Cold
  • Internal drainage
  • IPS panel install
  • Duct work AHU works
  • Support systems of all services
  • Gas installation and connected systems
  • Medical Gas installation
  • Completed a registered apprenticeship or equivalent
  • SMSTS or CSCS
