My client, a global reinsurance giant are currently looking to expand their Digital Transformation division with the acquisition of a Delivery Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the Underwriting New Services Data & Integrations landscape on a global
basis, across London & Global products, Central, East & West, and the different types of workflow
initiatives to implement proportionate and fit for purpose programme delivery approaches and plans.
processes and associated governance/controls

  • Work with Stakeholders and manage Digital Product teams including Product Owners and Product
Analysts, Scrum Masters, Agile Project Managers, Developers and external vendors to promote
and support 'best practice' to ensure new initiatives and deliverables are understood, evaluated,
prioritised and implemented to plan and to budget.

  • Implementing, maintaining and championing Agile practices at both the Team and Portfolio level
Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a Delivery Manager or Programme Manager with demonstrable experience of successful delivery of multi department / business area programs of work
  • You know about and can lead on a range of Agile and Scaled Agile tools and techniques
  • You can support effective budget management within the constraints of a project.
  • You know how to communicate effectively across organisational, technical and geographical boundaries, understanding the context.
  • You can solve issues and unblock problems. You know how to drive team and set the pace, ensuring teams are working towards delivery commitments.
  • You know how to build successful delivery teams. You understand team styles and how people work together.
