This not-for-profit organisation is recruiting dynamic and creative Engagement & Support Workers to deliver our programmes for young people and adults across East and Central Kent.

The roles will deliver 121 and group support creatively and with impact in various community settings.

You will support people to improve their skills and be ready to move into and sustain employment, education, training, traineeships, or apprenticeships.


Engagement & Support Workers will be skilled in working with partner organisations to identify referrals into the programmes and onward pathways once the programmes have ended.

Qualifications and Training

  • Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • A commitment to undertake all necessary training for the role
  • It is desirable for you to have Mental Health First Aid and relevant qualifications (minimum of Level 3) in training, youth and/ or community, IAG, youth work, assessing or equivalent experience.
  • Engagement & Support Worker Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver appropriate information, advice, guidance, and mentoring to unemployed young people and adults that enable the development of their personal, social and employability skills.
  • Deliver mentoring and training sessions, learning and workshops
  • To work creatively and in a personcentred way in a group or 121 settings.
  • Identify the additional support needs of young people and adults
  • Advocate for young people and adults, working confidentiality to support them and their families to address barriers to progression.
