We are seeking to appoint on behalf of our client who is in the educational sector, they are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Digital Marketing Assistant & administrator to support a busy but friendly team


The aim of this role is to ensure that the excellent educational offer and experience delivered by the school is captured and communicated to all stakeholders, internally and externally, via regular communication to stakeholders, including via digital channels,as well as provide a confidential and personal service to the Headteacher in all matters.


  • Local media: work with staff within the school to identify potential good news stories.
  • Capture appropriate photos/videos and collate content for press releases, write releases and liaise with local press to build and maintain positive community links.
  • To help out with photography and video where necessary
  • Events: support with the advertisement and, on occasion, the smooth running of school events, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard and reflect the school's branding and positioning.
  • Manage the communication of events to stakeholders.
  • Digital content: To lead on the delivery of Pioneer Secondary Academy's social media and digital content, developing and managing innovative and creative content campaigns across multiple channels.
  • To create a highend, high frequency, digital online presence through the school's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) and Google my business pages.
  • To develop an ongoing content plan for social media, researching content strategy opportunities
  • To maintain monthly reporting google analytics, social media engagement etc
  • Social media: manage the daytoday social media activity for the school: uploading content, scheduling posts, planning advertising or boosting posts.
  • Parental and wider communications: collate and produce a weekly communication to parents showcasing key events from the week.
  • Collateral: support with collation of information and rollout of the school's marketing collateral, e.g., prospectuses, event posters/flyers/banners, advertising.
  • Websites: manage the news content for the school's website. To maintain, develop and improve the school website, creating a regular cycle of updates and checks on content
  • Working flexibly within the team and autonomously as needed to manage your duties and conflicting priorities.
