We have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational leader to join our team inNorfolk and WaveneyasService Directoron a 18-month fixed term contract.
Our focus is on supporting compassionate leadership and quality improvement to create a culture where everyone has a voice and where service users, carers and staff collaborate to have a direct impact on the things that matter most.
NSFT has a care group leadership model where each geographical area is led by a Service Director, Clinical Director, Lead Nurse, and People Participation Lead.
You will be responsible for operational planning and delivery across the Suffolk care group, consisting of a number of community and inpatient clinical services.
This role is fundamental in achieving success through our improvement journey and needs someone who is skilled at building and sustaining internal and external relationships with key stakeholders.
You will work closely with all staff groups across the care groups as well as being the lead for working with business partners in other teams including finance, contracts and commissioning, IT and HR.
Relationships with external partners include Service Users and Carers, ICS partners, Regulators and other providers working within the Norfolk and Waveney system.
As Service Director you will be working alongside other senior leaders who together are committed to supporting each of our clinical services to thrive.
These services include; adult community mental health teams, older peoples services community and an intensive support team, adult acute wards, crisis support and mental health liaison teams, all of which are committed to enhancing patient experience and improving quality of care.
Key objectives that will be your initial focus include:
- Developing services that meet the needs of the population's health
- Operationally leading the work around the Norfolk and Waveney Transformation and change programmes
- Building and sustaining high performing services to ensure timely access for our service users
You will be able to establish credibility with a wide range of individuals, and must possess excellent communication, leadership, and management skills, together with the vision and drive to ensure your success.
