Location:
Surrey Highways Depot, Guildford GU4 7DB

Shifts: 6am - 6pm, 6pm - 5am, 3days on, 3 days off

A leading highways term maintenance company are currently recruiting for a Scheduler to work on our highway's term maintenance contract, providing an emergency response service to the Surrey area

Receiving and logging emergency calls from the Police, public or colleagues
Assess all enquiries against the defect guidance and relevant intervention levels to determine appropriate response timescale
Contacting and arranging an emergency response team to deal with the situation quickly and calmly
Able to keep calm in emergency situations
Organised
Comfortable talking to multiple different people with various levels of seniority
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to take initiative
Resilient and resourceful
Flexible in respect of working times
Experience within a similar role would be an advantage

Days and nights, 12 hours shifts 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6pm, 3 days rota, 3 on 3 off 3 on etc, overtime available, shift pattern is movable and negotiable depending on cover
