We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work within a busy Transport Office.


About the Administration role:


  • You will be working on a on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, from 7am7pm
  • Based in the Bridgemead area of Swindon (public transport available)
  • Salary is £21,000 per annum, (average weekly hours are 37.5)
  • Option to work extra hours on rest days
  • Temporary to permanent position

As an Administrator your duties will include:

  • Issuing paperwork, maps and keys to drivers


  • Data Entry

  • Input and track drivers on computer based systems
  • Liaison with other depots
  • Assist Shift Manager to manage drivers schedules
  • Write up breakdown reports and vehicle / trailer defects

To be considered for the Administrator role the following skills are required:

  • Good communication skills
  • Be a competent IT user
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment, within a small team
  • If you have worked within a Transport environment previously it would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given

£21,000.00 per year
