The clerk to the governing body will be accountable to the governing body, working effectively with the chair of governors, and with the Executive Head and other governors.
The clerk's main role is:
- To provide professional clerking services to the governing body _(and its committees)_.
- To assist with the general administration of the governing body, to ensure its efficient operation.
- To provide advice on procedural matters.
Although the hours of the post are 3.5 per week this will be worked on an ad hoc basis i.e some weeks will require more than others.
