TPP are recruiting a Business Operations Officer for our client, a leading educational institution dedicated to providing top-quality assessments.

The Role:As a Business Operations Officer (Assessment), your primary responsibility will be to efficiently deliver day-to-day services to learners, with a particular focus on assessment. You will work closely with the Business Operations Manager and other team members to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey. Your role will involve utilising systems and processes effectively to maintain high-quality assessments and providing exceptional customer service when required.


Responsibilities:

***- Provide information and guidance to educational centres, ensuring learners are admitted to examinations or assessments with a clear understanding of the process.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by handling examrelated enquiries and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Effectively utilise processes and systems to enhance customer service standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Organise and administer examinations across the qualification portfolio.
  • Allocate examiners appropriately for exams and facilitate the marking process.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, distributing workloads to ensure optimal team performance.
  • Assist in the production of exam papers, marking sheets, and the maintenance of Question Banks using exam software.
  • Monitor exam equipment stock levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Process orders and payments for certificates, certificated letters, and badges.
  • Contribute to the development of new assessment methods when required.
  • Provide support for relevant Committee meetings when necessary.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of information shared within the organisation.

Skills and Experience:
  • Strong administrative experience, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Comfortable working effectively both as part of a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in using office systems and processes.
  • Attention to detail, time management and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to represent the organisation professionally and competently.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
