Job description:


The Role


This is also a performance manager role whereby you will be responsible for the development and performance reviews of the analysts in the team through goal setting, appraisals, and honest conversations throughout the year.


Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Deputise and support the Client Assessment Team Manager during periods of absence/ project work.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the AML KYC policies and procedures.
  • Line and performance management of the Client Assessment team.
  • Allocating the work, manage the queues and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Undertaking quality control reviews across the team and making recommendations for changes in processes and training.
  • Owning the quality control process to ensure high quality output.
  • Identify and delivering training requirements.
  • Provide guidance and be an escalation point for all the Client Assessment team.
  • Be a point of contact for our customers both internally and externally.
  • Assisting with escalations of high risk and/or complex cases where, for example, adverse media, PEPs and/or Sanctions have been identified.
  • Assisting with specific special projects and investigations as assigned by the CAT Manager or MLRO.
  • Delivering training on specific areas including PEPs, sanctions, and highrisk industries.
  • Liaising with the MLRO and Financial Crime Team to implement new changes in laws, regulations or guidance as issued by UK Government or regulators.
  • Proposing and enabling improvements in the processes, incl. by creating a stimulating environment for team members to make recommendations.
  • Supporting the Policy and Guidance Assistant Manager and Financial Crime Team to ensure the team's Standard Operating Procedures are up to date with current procedures.
