Machine Operator - Wellington, Somerset - £11.03 to £14.28 per hour

Acorn is recruiting for Machine Operators in Wellington, Somerset on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to join a company who will invest time in training you and reward you for it.

As a Machine Operator, you will be working in a small team programming and operating the machinery to carry out the manufacturing of products.

This will involve quality control fault finding and problem solving. You will be working in a noisy environment at room temperature.

Hours of work:

40 hours per week (on a rotating shift pattern)
Monday to Friday
6.00am to 2.00pm and 2.00pm to 10.00pm
All of your breaks are paid

Rate of pay:

Starting rate of pay is £11.03 per hour (£22,942 per annum)
After you are fully trained on one machine which will take around 3 months your pay increases to £12.13 per hour (£25,230 per annum)
After you are fully trained on two machines which will take months your pay will increase again to £14.28 per hour (£29,702 per annum)

Overtime is paid at time and a half and up to double time if you work a weekend.
