They are now actively looking to recruit an experienced Bodyshop Workshop Controller based on their Bodyshop in Washington.


About the Job:


  • You'll be responsible for the daytoday operation of the bodyshop workshop, leading and managing a team of Technicians to maximise workflow and productivity and ensure repairs are completed timely and accurately, delivering the highest standards of quality for our customers.
  • You will also support in carrying out necessary repairs, to cover absences within the team, such as during holiday periods.
  • You will oversee health and safety regulations and ensure safe working practices are adhered to within the workshop and carry out quality control ensuring repairs are carried out to the BSI PAS 10125 standards.

About you:


  • You will have an extensive understanding of the accident repair / bodyshop industry, vehicle legislation and trade practices as a MET, Panel or Paint Technician, from an accident repair background and you will ideally have supervisory / management experience.
  • You will have knowledge of all aspects of Health and Safety, including an understanding of the provisions of EPA and Risk Assessments, experience working in a fastpaced workshop working in a job time structure with a focus on producing compliant, highquality work and proven ability to plan and priories work and work of others.
  • Additionally, you will have excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
