We have an exciting opportunity and are searching for a New Business Executive, with previous Customer Service experience, to join a growing business in Warrington.
New Business Consultant role:
Underwrite company cases within agreed mandate, with consideration of business risks being paramount.
You will ensure all necessary documentation is received and thoroughly checked before payments can be authorised.
New Business Executive Responsibilities:
Underwrite new business using company guidelines to make decisions on accepting or declining new claims for all products in line with the company's service-level agreement (_SLA's).
Be comfortable running company reports, understanding personal and departmental targets.
Review new and supplementary engineer's reports to ensure we have the correct vehicle details for the claim - damage to a client's vehicle must be consistent with the accident criteria provided.
Carryout due diligence on potential new Bodyshop's, using credit safe, google maps and VAT checker.
Create a risk profile of potential new Bodyshop's and adhere to the companies' guidelines.
Pay-out pending calls, chasing Bodyshop's for outstanding invoices which are ready to be funded, making sure the Bodyshop is encouraged to forward the documents as soon as possible.
Be able to spot anomalies and the warning signs of fraud, alerting the department manager in a timely manner.
Comfortable building relationships with business stakeholders, including Bodyshop's and engineers, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain up to date knowledge of company products and seek to develop your skills and knowledge, by taking part in company training.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of working within the insurance industry
- A knowledge of invoice purchasing
- Experience of operating in claims/dispute resolution
- Customer service experience.
- Good keyboard skills and intermediate level IT skills
- Experience of managing own workload and adhering to deadlines
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Desirable; NVQ Level 2,3 and/or 4 in customer service (or equivalent) / Chartered Institute Insurance (CII Cert)
New Business Executive Benefits:
