Reliability to work to flexible hours

this job involves weekends, and Bank Holidays. Bank Holidays and weekends on a rota. Shifts can be morning/afternoon or evening.

Be physically and mentally fit

Ability to complete a variety of tasks.

Provide personal care including; washing, dressing, hair, reminding about medication, food preparation and cooking.

Complete household tasks including but not limited to; laundry, ironing, washing up, cleaning and organising.

Some experience with personal care especially washing is a requirement as this is the main focus of this position however if you wish to undertake only the cleaning aspect you may still apply.

Must be able to travel easily to shoebury in southend on sea


Pay and hours:
£12 -13 per hour employed

Rate of pay is set by southend Borough Council and is dependent on qualifications, experience and whether you want to be employed or self employed (self employed rates are higher and you must declare your tax status to hmrc).

Hours are dependent on ability to complete tasks and availability.

Hours will be shared with more than one carer.

This is a part time position and hours are limited by southend Borough Council. As a minimum you can do 2 hours per week or just cover sickness and holidays of other carers.

You may work with other families on the vibrance pa register to increase your hours.
