Job Summary:

The Operator is responsible for the safe operation of our automated machines and the quality of the finished product.

This position will operate our automated machines to ensure that products are made to specifications, quality control checks are performed on products as needed, and equipment is cleaned after use.

The Operator will communicate any equipment issues to appropriate management.


Responsibilities:

• Operate manual machine tools (bending machine, saw mill, lathe) to produce parts according to specifications (size, shape, finish, material) while following quality control procedures.
• Perform machine cleaning procedures when necessary.
• Follow good manufacturing practice (GMP) to ensure the integrity of product quality.
• Perform machine inspections at start up/start of shift to ensure quality/safety standards are being followed.
• Report any equipment issues to appropriate management.
• Support production with tasks as needed.
• Work with other departments in order to ensure proper operation of production machinery.
• Assist in any other areas as needed

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
£9.00-£11.00 per hour
