Regional Training Partner - a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Trainer with a passion for food, drink, development, and people.
An exciting time for Turtle Bay as we reshape and restructure how we do Training and Development.

This is a new role at Turtle Bay and will sit within our Training & People Team and partner with Ops Managers to support the development of our restaurant teams, drive standards, launch and embed operational change and support new site openings.
This is a field-based role where you will be required to travel across the Northwest region.
Requirements:
- Managed teams within high volume fastpaced business.
- Been a General or senior Restaurant Manager at some stage in their career.
- A skilled Manager who loves being handson
- Passionate about food, standards, and guest experience.
- Has a fantastic attitude to work.
- Is patient and calm
- A proven track record of team development
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Experience in the hospitality industry.
- Is comfortable delivering training material to groups of trainees
- Can work regular weekends and evenings
- Flexibility to travel daily with frequent nights away from home
- Has strong knowledge of compliance and food safety/health and safety legislation
Responsibilities:
- Working with the Op Managers to identify where the needs are in each region for developing our management teams and future leaders.
- Working in site alongside the restaurant management team to improve service and standards
- Developing development plans for managers and coaching them on how to improve the guest experience.
- Ensuring training is aligned with operational needs and consistency monitored across the regions.
- Ensuring all General Managers deliver and complete the standard training programme at Turtle Bay.
- Ensure regional training houses are in place and standards are monitored
- Rolling out training initiatives across their regions, alongside their Ops Managers to embed and follow up.
- Being the critical training contact for General Managers and Team Trainers for their region.
- We are carrying out periodic observations on MITs and Managers on pathways to identify gaps in knowledge and build their plan to improve.
- Driving the compliance knowledge and scores across the regions.
- Reporting on weekly projects and site visits
- Driving our equal opportunities policies to ensure we deliver development fairly and equally across a diverse workforce.
- Ensuring that our documents and processes are in line and kept up to date with GDPR and our workplace privacy notice.
