Data Lead - Brand & Customer

Technical skill set:
Data Analyst with Python experience.


Role overview:


Working as part of the Group Brand function, the Data Lead will focus on supporting the creation of a data and customer first approach to ecommerce, spanning the various brands and projects within THG (including MyProtein, Lookfantastic and more).

The role reports into the Group Head of Brand Performance and will work closely with them to provide the business with proprietary tools, frameworks, and strategic data analysis to shape THG's brand and customer first approach.


Core deliverables:

Group rollout of fully automated customer IQ dashboard (doing the 'plug in' to each database format and implementing the brands strategic segments into the dashboard).

Produce segmented personas to give each brand strategic personas combining transaction data and qualitative survey data.

Own and develop a scalable customer segment / mapping model across the organisation and all brands as part of it

Analyse segments to prioritise testing plans using transaction data and customer IQ.

Set up, test, and scale a Market Mix Model - working with Google on their lightweight MMM solution to build, calibrate and test (amongst 3 calculation methods) to get us a working model on MyProtein UK, then the group in priority order.

Build and rollout a brand health dashboard - create an in-house dashboard measuring transactional, social and search metrics into a digestible, scored format. Also incorporate THGX (customer service), Ops score and some external market measuring capabilities.


Requirements:


  • 3+ years working in a data role.
  • Maths, Physics, Data Science, or a similar degree preferred.
  • Background in ecommerce with a deep understanding of marketing / brand building.
  • Must be proficient in BigQuery, SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau or Power BI (R could also beneficial) working with large data sets.
  • Strong data visualisation skills.
  • Confident communicator and presenter, with C Suite experience.
  • Being a true selfstarter with strong stakeholder management skills is essential.
