Menzies Distribution are currently recruiting a Nightshift Site Manager to work out of our depot in Rhyl


What you want to know:
Hours of work: 1am - 930am

Days of work:
Tuesday - Saturday


Pay:
£2408 prior to deductions


Site Manager Duties:


  • Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
  • Maintain a safe working environment which complies with all aspects of the company's H&S policy
  • Ensure all environmental control measures are in place and effective
  • Manage, support & develop the operational team through continuous improvement and proactive communication
  • Establish & maintain a harmonised people focused teamworking environment
  • Uphold highest standards of H&S, ensure all inductions and regular training is completed and logged
  • Establish, monitor and maintain agreed performance levels for all warehouse activity
  • Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Provide 'hand over report' to oncoming Newstrade Shift Manager
  • Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff
  • Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they are able to undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely
  • Ensure all staff have completed the necessary Health & Safety training
  • Management of the end to end warehouse functions and processes

Requirements:


  • A minimum of 1 of years relevant working experience within a Distribution or Logistics supervisory position
  • Supervisor / Man Management.
  • Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)


  • MHE

  • Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT licenses preferable
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • The ability to lead and motivate a team
