Established in 2004, Warm Wales works to provide homes with affordable warmth and to alleviate fuel poverty.

We work closely with the public and private sectors to maximise funding opportunities which enable individual and area wide energy efficiency schemes.


We need a skilled and focussed individual to support the delivery of the NPT Hardship Relief Scheme as well as other aspects of our organisation's work.

The scheme will provide a range of practical support to people within the local authority area to help alleviate some of the impact of the current cost-of-living crisis and is generating a high volume of telephone calls and other enquiries.


The role will sit alongside project teams within the organisation, including the _Healthy Homes, Healthy People _team, providing administrative support to them and others.


Key responsibilities

  • Answering the phone:
- logging calls onto the CRM
- directing callers to the correct team
- responding to general queries


Person Specification

  • Confident telephone manner
  • Comfortable responding to a variety of queries spanning a number of projects.
  • Experience using CRM or database systems to log enquiries and record interactions.
  • Comfortable working as part of dispersed team and being supported remotely.
The post requires appropriate references to be obtained by Warm Wales.


Warm Wales' staff are currently working from home, with trips to the office where necessary; working arrangements will be adjusted in accordance with the requirements of the role.

Hours of work

This post is full time:
normal full time working hours are 37 hours per week exclusive of lunch breaks.


Although Warm Wales wishes to offer staff opportunities for flexible working, hours of work will also need to be worked flexibly to meet operational requirements for the role and must be agreed with line manager.

There will be occasions when staff may be requested to work additional hours or outside normal hours.

Holidays commence at 26 days p.a. plus bank holidays.


Pension
Warm Wales offers a qualifying workplace pension scheme through NEST.

Warm Wales makes employer contributions to the employee's retirement pot, employee contributions will need to match those stipulated by the Government.

A contracting out certificate under the Pensions Schemes Act 1993 is not in force. Currently (since April 2019) the contributions are Warm Wales 3% Employee 5%.
