Working Hours: 8.45am - 6pm


Hours per week: 40 hours

THE JOB:


The role of an IT Technician:

  • Providing 1st class support for all customer incidents and service requests, while maintaining a high-resolution rate.
  • Providing an excellent customer service experience to the company and customers
  • Take advantage of the extensive training and development opportunities available with the company to pursue a career in IT
  • Take control of 2nd Line Escalations ensuring technical faults and requests are managed and prioritised effectively
  • Be able to relay technical information collected in a clear and concise manner for higher level engineers to resolve where needed as well as in non technical terms to stakeholders within the company
  • Installation of Azure, Servers and Firewalls within client sites
  • Have a strong passion for IT, and use this to increase the IT service level of the department to develop not only yourself but the service desk
  • Extensive learning in Azure, Networking, VMware and more
  • It is 5 days a week onsite and you will be required to report to client sites on average 4 times a month

Essential Skills - IT Technician:


  • Installation of Azure, Servers and Firewalls
  • Escalation point for 2nd Line IT Team BAU problems
  • Working with VMware and Hyper-V


  • Office365 Administration

  • Mail Distribution lists (Exchange)
  • Networking vLAN Configuration and Firewall Implementation
  • Strong Communication skills

Additional Experience that is desired - IT Technician:

  • Working in an MSP environment
  • Experience within a fastpaced environment
  • Any Certifications
