Part Time Night Concierge

Norton Road, Stockton-on-Tees

We are seeking an experienced Nights Concierge to join our team based at Norton Road, Stockton-on-Tees.


Norton Road comprises two buildings:
one with six two-bedroom flats, and one with five one-bedroom flats, 7 studio flats and a crash pad.

We provide supported housing for young people and adults aged 16 and over, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Shifts will be on a 2 week rota as follows:

Week 1:
Friday and Saturday 10pm - 8am

Week 2:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10pm - 8am

The role of Nights Concierge will include:

  • Providing general assistance and responding to customer requests and queries efficiently
  • Ensuring that security of the service is maintained by completing hourly checks and monitoring CCTV
  • Developing and delivering effective administrative procedures
  • Completing concierge check lists, feeding back information and completing incident reports if required
  • Night and Lone Working

Skills and experiences:


  • A positive, cando attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Ability to hit the ground running and work under challenging circumstances
  • Some experience of security or working with vulnerable adults would be advantageous
  • Basic health and safety knowledge, with the ability to carry out minor repairs
  • Friendly and approachable attitude with the ability to communicate and engage with our customers, visitors and colleagues
