We have part-time vacancies for Admin Assistants whose primary role will be to support the work of the Health Visiting and School Nursing Teams, supporting clinical colleagues and ensuring timely communications with service users and partner agencies.

This role may involve a combination of office/home working.


The successful applicant will need to be able to deliver or assist in the delivery of a range of administrative tasks which will include the use of spreadsheets, the mail merging of documents, the inputting and updating of information on a Case Management system, diary management, arranging meetings, note-taking and the booking of training for staff.

This role is very varied but full support and training will be given.

Whilst the location/work base for this role will be specified, our evolving ways of working means that the role may require you to work remotely (e.g. from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.

Applicants should have 4 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent, including English and Maths and have excellent communication and keyboard skills. Experience of working in an office environment would be an advantage.

The Together for Families Directorate provides support to children and their families within the county.
