Rate:
£650 - £750 inside IR35

Clearance level :
MUST have DV or minimum SC clearance

Responsibilities

  • Represent appropriate technology choices, options and risks and issues to be considered to the Design Authority Board.
  • Ensure coherence in the use of tools and technologies, including reuse rather than duplication where appropriate.
  • Actively support the upskilling of crown servants and documentation to enable ISS' Architects to become autonomous in these skills and capabilities over time
  • Support ISS in challenging industry suppliers (new and current), to assimilate best practice, evergreen their services and to design and implement for maximum benefit and performance within the Defence ICT Estate.
  • Promote industry best practice in technology and tools within each of their specialist disciplines.

Skills and experience

  • Have an excellent knowledge of MOD technologies and the ability to adapt these to the environment.
  • Have the ability to define and analyse user requirements and advise on scope and options for business and operational improvements.
  • Have the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences. Prepares and delivers briefings and presentations for project teams, management and customers as appropriate.
  • Have good working knowledge across all the five POPIT (Process, Organisation, People, Information, Technology) channel disciplines.
  • Provide demonstrable experience of working as the Solution Owner and ability to lead and drive the solution to delivery.
  • Demonstrate experience of Project Management, Quality Management and Risk Management.
