Description

Responsibilities:

  • Operational delivery (covering Dealing Services, Registration Services, Technical Support Teams, Book & Price, Deal Amends, Fund Events, Commissions, Distributions & Regulatory Reporting, and Wealth Operations), whilst ensuring a strong control framework,continuous improvements and CASS controls.
  • Target Operating Model delivery: driving cost and risk efficiencies across Operations.
  • Managing and exceeding client expectations in line with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives.
  • Being a positive leader with a collaborative management approach.
  • Supporting new business requirements and identifying opportunities for revenue generation andrisk reduction.
  • Financial control ensuring headcount and expenses remain within budget.
  • Acting as sponsor / SME on projects and programmes as necessary.

Experience required:

  • Strong senior management experience from an outsourcing environment or managing 3rd party administration clients within the Wealth Management Operations sphere.
  • In depth knowledge of:
  • Investment Products (ISA, Unit Trust, OEIC, Investment Trusts & SICAVs)
  • Experience in supporting Managed and Bespoke portfolios, offshore portfolios plus other elements including Decumulation services, Responsible investment services, AIM and Charity portfolios.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external clients, 3rd parties and regulators.
  • Strong presentation skills and innovative approach to process improvements.
  • Ability to thrive in highly pressurised environments with demanding clients; and to interact positively with other areas and departments.
  • Ideally have an understanding of the global Transfer Agency market.
  • Ideally be well versed in Change Management / Programme delivery within the context of senior Operational Management.
