Pod are delighted to be working with a great British e-commerce consumer goods company who are looking for a Senior Logistics Executive to join their fabulous team in Central London.


In this newly created role, you would manage business logistics and order shipments to ensure they happen efficiently and cost-effectively as well as review current processes and identify areas of improvement.


This is an exciting time to join this business as they have seen consistent growth into the US, EU and UK market in the past few years and you will be part of an ongoing project that will help to reduce the global shipping costs.


Role and responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor 1 logistics executive
  • Visit warehouses and own relationship with their management teams to ensure you are delivering the best service together and that optimum processes are being carried out
  • Manage logistics integrations and monitor and report on performance
  • Work alongside project teams to ensure the business is evolving with all the sustainability options i.e. packaging and transporting
  • Own day to day relationships with external 3PLs, including regular reviews and discussions pertaining to documentation requirements, reporting and service enhancements, service failures etc, as well as all claims

Key skills & experience required:

  • 2 years' + experience in a similar position within shipping/logistics
  • Able to work with other departments across the business
  • Great understanding of import duty and commodity codes
  • Problem solver and highly organised
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel + ERP)
