Description
We are seeking a Senior Research Associate in Sustainable Cooling to join the interdisciplinary Future of Cooling programme at the Department of Engineering Science.
This position is supported by a grant from the Oxford Martin School, focused on the health, economic, and environmental impacts of increasing energy use and greenhouse gas emission in response to rising extreme heat affects.

This will involve leading, devising, coordinating and supervising research projects in this area, including work in collaboration with project partners, guidance to researchers and students, and winning further funding to underpin the research.
You should hold a PhD in architecture and/or engineering, together with demonstrable experience of working with qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
The Department holds an Athena Swan Bronze award, highlighting its commitment to promoting women in Science, Engineering and Technology. This group has a strong desire to promote diversity and gender balance.
