Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are


Retain existing LGPS (Local Government Pension Schemes) and local authority treasury clients through proactive maintenance and development of relationships with both clients, their consultants and the LGPS Pools.

Build relationships with new clients and over time cross sell to existing clients where possible and appropriate.

You will support the sales process and eventually have the opportunity to participate in the origination of new business.


Responsibilities

How you'll spend your time....

  • Maintain a log of client tiering across the team and ensure service delivery consistent with each client's status
  • Manage the book of clients you have responsibility for through:
  • Understand the client and their requirements
  • Take every opportunity to improve the client experience
  • Delivery of SLA in respect of client tiering
  • Ensure timely response to daytoday queries
  • Escalate issues as appropriate
  • Communicate investment strategy ideas and market intelligence in a proactive manner
  • Be an advocate for the client within CTI
  • Seek the status of trusted adviser with clients
  • Leverage the time and resources of the investment teams effectively
  • Ensure Salesforce accurately reflects all client details, contact activity and pipeline
  • Maintain an annual record of CPD
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of investment markets and CTI strategies in order to be able to discuss the same with clients and their consultants
  • Achieve all applicable regulatory and risk management standards defined to manage Money Laundering / Terrorist Financing and Sanctions risk

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have....

  • Successfully completed the IMC as a minimum
  • Have started, completed or be willing to complete the CFA Level 1

Preferred Qualifications

If you also had this, it would be great

  • Local Authority experience is a plus but not essential
