Gilmerton Bowling Club are currently looking for a reliable cleaner to work early mornings on a part time basis.Workings Hours:
Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun.
3 hours per day.
7am-10am
Rate of Pay:
£12.00 per hour
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking and reliable cleaner to join our team. You must be able to work on your own as well as alongside our other cleaner. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various areas. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our staff and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, lounges and function hall.
- Follow cleaning procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cleaner or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is a plus
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
