Our client, a dynamic multi-national family-owned business has a fantastic opportunity for a Helpdesk Manager to join their team based in Exeter.

You will oversee a team of technical support analysts, promoting best practice and facilitating their personaldevelopment.

What will you do as a Helpdesk Manager?_

  • Management of 1st and 2nd Line Analysts
  • Training and development of team
  • Daily staff management including oneto ones, appraisals, holiday, sickness and absence management
  • Recruitment of new analysts
  • Production of timely and accurate performance reports daily
  • Utilising various software tools, including the ticketing system, to improve time to resolve issues, reduction of repeat tickets and overall number of tickets
  • Deal with escalated customer issues when required
  • Management of the rotas to ensure adequate support across delivery times

Skills and Qualifications:_

  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and develop a technical team
  • Highly analytical with the ability to encourage best practice
  • Excellent communicator

This role will require "out of hours" support via telephone but does offer financial remuneration for this.
