The Head of Brand and Attraction leads the CoE, which sits within the Talent function of People Services and is accountable for setting the overall strategic direction, creative and brand management, and channel/campaign activation.

Key responsibilities

  • Champion for the firm's brand and reputation in the recruitment market.
  • Supports firm strategic drivers such as Brand Reputation, Digital Transformation and Inclusion, Diversity and Equality (IDE) through impactful, valueadd Employer Brand and Attraction solutions that bring to life KPMG's EVP "Our KPMG" and help differentiate "Why KPMG is a great place to work" in a highly competitive market.
  • Effective leader in managing the development of creative propositions, messaging, and creative activation to ensure deliverables are high quality/innovative, meeting brand objectives, with stakeholder consultations and approvals all smoothly delivered. Data and insights driven and effective in drafting clear and impactful narratives to drive valueadd change initiatives.
  • High capability in writing clear and effective creative marketing briefs, conceptual development work and inspiring innovative great creative outcomes.
  • Solutions are integrated strategies, which span creative briefing/development, copy, digital and social media advertising and promotion, video, outdoor marketing, paid media, search, and radio therefore broad specialist knowledge across these is essential and capability to assess where further depth of expertise required i.e., recruitment or outsource for skill level.
  • Develop external profile to offer thought leadership, gather market knowledge around competitor activity and industry trends, and share this information appropriately.
  • Brand guardian.
  • Work with Sales & Marketing to ensure that any campaign activities from both the business and recruitment are fully leveraged.
  • Budget and supplier management.
  • Responsible for management and compliance of recruitment marketing platforms including careers website and social media.
  • Highly effective People Manager. Outstanding leader who can inspire a small team of Employer Brand and Attraction specialists to do great work.
  • Acts with integrity and upholds KPMG's values.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Deep sector SME an employer brand and attraction specialist with excellent technical knowledge of recruitment marketing and a strong track record of delivering qualityled campaigns and projects.
  • Student and Experienced Professionals recruitment engagement and recruitment brand and attraction experience gained either within fastpaced, complex organisations (professional services an advantage), or specialist marketing agencies.
  • Proven track record of delivering on core messaging, positioning and value proposition (EVP) materials.
  • Solid experience in leading on complex, integrated and crossfunctional (PR, Internal Comms, and Corporate Marketing etc.) strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills: high impact persuasive communicator who can successfully influence/manage a diverse group of senior stakeholders often with conflicting requirements.
  • Established network and market awareness (competitor activity, products, services, and suppliers) to provide competitive advantage.
  • Collaborative leader and teamplayer: including driving inclusion, leading by example, seeking continuous improvement from self and others, and holding others accountable for performance.
  • Flexible and resilient: demonstrates innovation in approach to problem solving and delivering service; able to adapt to an everchanging landscape, responding to commercial needs whilst driving for continuous improvement.
  • Degree and/or professional qualification in a related field preferred. Professional related qualification such as CIM an advantage.
