**Contract Coordinator

    Are you looking for your next challenge? We are currently seeking Contract Coordinator to join and support our expanding traffic field team. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in working in a fast paced environment.

You'll be working in a part of telent that is dedicated to maintaining the UK wide traffic network. Our customers include Highways England so our Contract Coordinator will play a crucial role in keeping UK roads well maintained and working efficiently.


Role Profile:

Reporting to the Customer Support Manager.

You will take on and provide Administrative Support, fault coordination, engineer tasking and day to day administration support for the Traffic Business within our Crawley Based Office.


The Contract Coordinator will form part of a team, mainly consisting of field-based Traffic Engineers, and be responsible for daily office duties such as general administration and ensuring our Engineers are guided through various projects should they have any issues or problems.

The role also involves issuing faults to the field-based Engineers.


Typical Deliverables:


  • Issuing and coordinating faults to the field based Engineers on a daily basis ensuring that faults are passed within the SLAs
  • Invoicing all chargeable works and maintenance works for the Traffic Service Centre
  • The issuing and coordinating of Safety Alert read receipts as part of H&S process
  • Dealing with Customer focused queries
  • Liaise with Engineers to ensure timesheets are completed in a timely manner
  • Produce Contract Reports
  • Order PPE / relevant site equipment to support the Delivery of the Contract
  • Documentation Control / General Administration
  • Carry out administration tasks as determined by Service Centre Managers

Experience required:


  • Will be able to demonstrate a highly professional manner when dealing with clients/customers/Engineers
  • IT skills around Microsoft Word, Miscrosoft Excel are ESSENTIAL
  • Oracle experience (desirable)
  • Ability to react to changing circumstances and work under pressure
  • Familiar with Highways Agency / Traffic / Transport OR Local Authority although, training will be provided
  • Ability to carry out general administration duties
