Our client is looking for a CFO in the reading area - for further information about this position please apply.


Key recurring deliverables:


  • Oversee the finance function for four legal entities;
  • Review, comment on and distribute GP results by customer each month;
  • Review management accounts (produced by finance manager) and ensure all variances to budget and unusual activity are investigated and commented on;
  • Prepare annual overhead budgeting & quarterly reforecasting to ensure accuracy of accounts;
  • Regularly review group cashflow to ensure the group operates within financial restraints and covenants;
  • Review debtors weekly to ensure strong negative skew on ageing;
  • Manage creditors to terms;
  • Ensure 13 week rolling cashflow contains all significant HMRC payments.
  • Ensure the wider business follows financial guidelines regarding purchasing, authorising and invoicing;
  • Monthly submission of accounts to bank;
  • Coordinate and oversee audit of financial statements;
  • Complete ONS requirements as and when required;
  • Ensure HR processes are routinely followed;
  • Continue to implement standardised, structured HR processes around engagement, retention, performance and review;
  • Review and authorise payroll payments including starters, leavers, attendance and overtime.
