The main duties of this post include the registration of births, deaths and marriages, and taking of notices of marriage and civil partnership.

Conducting marriage and civil partnerships at the register Office and Approved Premises.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Registration Team providing a professional and customer focused front line service.


Your duties will range from registering births, deaths, marriages, taking notice of marriage and civil partnership and conducting ceremonies at the Register Office and Approved premises.


You will be based at Chester Register Office but will be required to travel to other offices or marriage venues within Cheshire West and Chester.

Your working week will include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Appointment to this role requires a basic DBS check.
