Accounts Clerk - Sheffield - Excellent salary & benefits


Ash Consulting are working with a leading specialist business support organisation that are currently seeking a capable Accounts Clerk to join their team.

The role will support the Financial Controller.


Duties will include:

Answering incoming calls and resolving any queries with suppliers

Raising, matching, and processing purchase ledger invoices

Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any issues accordingly

Posting all payments made through the bank

Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details

Keeping up to date the list of invoices in query

Creating sales Invoices

Maintaining Customer Files

Other ad hoc finance & admin tasks as required


Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role

Previous experience with computerised accounts packages

Good IT skills - Microsoft Excel, Outlook

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

The ability to prioritise and work well in a fast paced environment

To work well within a team

Excellent communication skills

Company confidentiality to be adhered to at all times
