The Buchanan Arms Hotel & Spa is an outstanding hotel with leisure club in Drymen, 4 miles from the east side of Loch Lomond.

We have re-opened with new ownership & are looking to make a strong, guest focused team that is efficient, effective, reliable & great team players

Our front office team is the heart of the hotel therefore you need to have excellent communication & organizational skills.

The moment a guest steps into our hotel, they walk into a memorable experience.

As a receptionist, you'll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights & anticipate their every need, you'll also create a warm atmosphere that makes every guest feel at home.

You will be required to assist in the day to day running of the reception/reservation department, ensuring a high standard of guest services & hospitality

Your duties will include:

Guest check in & out
Preparing invoices & taking payments
Checking all bookings are updated & correct in our system, & all departments are aware of any special requests
Maximise room occupancy levels & upsell wherever possible
Preparing for the day ahead & guest arrivals
Performing daily scheduled tasks
Assisting other departments as & when required

About you:

Experience in a similar or front facing customer service role preferred but not essential as full training will be given
Strong communication, interpersonal & customer relation skills
Flexible & adaptable with the ability to stay calm under pressure
High attention to detail & accuracy
